Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860 meters or 9,383 feet) and Phakding (2,610 meters or 8,563 feet)
On the second day of your Lobuche Peak climbing adventure, you'll embark on an exhilarating journey. The day commences with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a picturesque town and the gateway to the Khumbu region. Upon arrival in Lukla, you'll set foot on the famed Tenzing-Hillary Airport, one of the world's most challenging and exciting airstrips. From Lukla, your trek begins, and you'll trek towards the charming village of Phakding. This part of the journey offers a delightful introduction to the natural beauty of the Everest region, with lush forests, suspension bridges, and glimpses of the Dudh Kosi River. As you descend, you'll reflect on the incredible experiences and memories you've gathered during your adventure in the Himalayas. Finally, you'll arrive in Lukla, the place where your journey in the Everest region began, marking the conclusion of your challenging and rewarding expedition.
Departure
This is the final day when you depart from Kathmandu. Our representatives will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu in a private car. If you have enough time you can join other activities too.
