Climbing the Seven Summits (CTSS) is a world-leading mountain guiding and trekking service. We are known as the Seven Summits specialists, with our trademark expeditions being the tallest peak on each of the seven continents. That said, we don’t stop at just those seven. We run a variety of expeditions and treks worldwide, and can also build custom itineraries. CTSS is owned and operated by Mike Hamill, who is a veteran of over 120 expeditions. Mike has lapped the Seven Summits 6x and has been guiding for over two decades with unrivaled success. Having worked as a guide with other companies, Mike saw the opportunity to dramatically improve upon the status quo and broke out to start CTSS. Today, we stand apart by listening to our clients’ needs and customizing expeditions to suit their style, budget, and experience level, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Our approach is holistic. We are committed to helping you prepare, plan, and progress throughout your entire climbing career. We focus not only on the big picture priorities, like your safety, the calibre and experience of our guide team, and delivering superior logistics, but also on the little details. One of our fundamental guiding principles is that happy, healthy, well-rested climbers are successful climbers. By investing in better accommodations, fresh, hearty food on the mountain, and little creature comforts, your mind will be focused, your body will feel stronger, and you will perform better. It’s these marginal gains that quickly compound into a huge summit advantage. Our top priorities are safety and success, in that order. You can trust us to deploy the best, most experienced, and respected mountain guides in the world, use top-of-the-line equipment, not skimp on costs; make wise decisions in your best interest, and go above and beyond to stack the odds in your favor. We want to be the pride and class of the mountain on every expedition by climbing in good style.

There are a lot of Everest companies to choose from, and before my expedition I spent countless months trying to determine who would give me the best chance of success, safety, and ultimately, a successful summit. Now, having successfully summited Everest and having seen the camps, guides, logistic
After working closely with CTSS and discussing my objectives and goals for future mountaineering expeditions, CTSS recommended a private trek to Mt Baker. I could not have been more pleased with that decision. My guide was top notch from start to finish and has a resume of experience a mile long. I

I wanted to express my appreciation and share the wonderful experience of climbing Everest with CTSS this 2026 season. Communication, logistics, facilities, and food were so well done.
