Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania.
Hotel check in.
You will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your agreed-upon hotel in the city of Moshi. You will meet your guide, who will brief you about your upcoming trek and conduct an equipment check to ensure you have all the necessary mountaineering gear. Any missing equipment can be rented on that day. Hotel: Accommodation and breakfast included.

Day 1  - Arrival in Tanzania

An hour's drive from Moshi is the entrance gate to the Machame route, where we complete park formalities, meet our porter crew, and begin the ascent. The initial stretch of the route ascends steadily and traverses a magnificent and dense rainforest. This path is less frequented, so it may be slightly overgrown in some places and often wet and muddy underfoot.

Day 2 - Machame Gate (1790m) to Machame Camp (3010m)

Now walking in high moorland, the landscape changes the character of the hike. We cross the southwest side of Kilimanjaro, passing beneath the Lava Tower and the final section of the Western Breach, and finally reach the camp. The day has been spent at altitude (up to 4600 m), but we've followed the mountaineering code of "climb high, sleep low" to help your body acclimatize.

Day 3 - Shira Cave (3845m) to Barranco Camp (3960m)

Our day begins by descending into the Great Barranco, a huge ravine. We then ascend sharply up the Great Barranco Wall, which separates us from the southeastern slopes of Kibo. It's a non-technical rock climb, but it's long and strenuous. Passing under the Heim and Kersten glaciers, we head toward Karanga Valley, our last stop for freshwater before the summit. Scree now forms the terrain as we walk through arid and desolate lands to Barafu Camp.

DAY 4: Barranco Camp (3960m) to Barafu Camp (4640m)

We begin around midnight and ascend steeply to the glacier. We'll be climbing scree for 4 to 5 hours, gaining incredible altitude in a short distance. The views are spectacular. We should reach the crater's edge at Stella Point (5739m) as the first rays of sunlight hit us. Spectacular ice cliffs surround us inside the crater, and the views to the rugged peak of Mawenzi and beyond are breathtaking. Walking another hour takes us to the summit, Uhuru Peak (5895m). We start our descent, returning to Stella Point and then descending on a scree slope and path back to Barafu Camp for breakfast before finally heading to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.

DAY 5: Barafu Camp (4640m) to UHURU PEAK (5895m) and descent to Mweka Camp (3100m)

A gentle hike takes us through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where we complete park formalities and receive.
Transfer to he hotel.

DAY 6: Mweka Camp (3100m) to Mweka Gate (1630m)

It's our last day, you decide whether to head to the airport or join us for another adventure on the Serengeti safari. Travel not included.

Kilimanjaro Climb

Upon your arrival in Mexico City, our team will warmly welcome you to the vibrant capital. We will gather for a comprehensive welcome briefing, where you will meet your fellow adventurers and receive a detailed overview of the expedition's itinerary, safety guidelines, and essential equipment. This orientation will provide you with the knowledge and confidence needed to embark on this extraordinary journey.

Arrival in Mexico City, Welcome Briefing

As we venture into the mountains, our first full day begins at La Malinche National Park, located about a 2-hour drive from Mexico City. Here, we set our sights on our first objective: conquering the majestic La Malinche volcano. Despite the jet lag, we start with a forest hike and then rest in cabins equipped with showers, hot water, and comfortable bunk beds.

We prepare ourselves for the next early morning, when we embark on an awe-inspiring acclimatization hike.

Day 2: Acclimatization Hike

This gentle hike, lasting between 5 and 6 hours, takes us to the summit of La Malinche. It serves a dual purpose: allowing us to acclimate to the altitude of 4,400 meters (14,436 feet) above sea level and beginning the process of preparing our bodies for the challenges ahead. Simultaneously, we'll have the invaluable opportunity to admire the unparalleled beauty of the local landscapes in all their splendor.

Day 3: La Malinche Ascent

The heart of the expedition arrives as we set our sights on Iztaccíhuatl. Over the course of two days, we will ascend this magnificent "Sleeping Woman" volcano. Our journey will take us through varying terrains, from lush alpine forests to snow-covered slopes and rocky ridges. On this day, we will transfer to the Iztaccíhuatl base camp and spend the night in tents. The following early morning, we will head towards the summit of Iztaccíhuatl.

The highlight is reaching the summit at sunrise, where you'll be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views and the sense of achievement that accompanies conquering a peak.

Day 4 and 5: Iztaccíhuatl Ascent

After the thrilling ascent of Iztaccíhuatl, a day of rest in Puebla city and preparation awaits you. This day provides the opportunity to recharge both physically and mentally, ensuring you are ready for the upcoming challenge of Pico de Orizaba. Our experienced guides will lead discussions on mountaineering techniques, gear preparation, and the strategies necessary for success.

Days 6: Day Rest in Puebla

With renewed energy, we turn our focus to Pico de Orizaba, the tallest volcano in Mexico. Over the course of two days, we will navigate the icy slopes and crevasses of this stunning peak. The ascent will test your endurance, technical skills, and determination. As we ascend, the camaraderie within the group strengthens, and the feeling of unity and shared accomplishment becomes truly remarkable.

Day 7-8: Pico de Orizaba Expedition

The final day of the expedition marks the descent from Pico de Orizaba's summit. With memories of breathtaking vistas and triumphant moments, we begin our journey back to Mexico City. This return offers time for reflection, as you look back on the challenges you overcame and the beauty you experienced.
