You'll arrive in Moshi, Tanzania, and meet your guide who will transfer you to your hotel for the night. You'll have a briefing on the climb and equipment check with your guide.

Day 0: Arrival in Moshi

After breakfast, you'll be driven to the Machame Gate, where you'll start your trek. You'll hike through the lush rainforest to Machame Camp, which is located at an altitude of 3,000 meters.

Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

You'll leave Machame Camp and continue up the mountain, passing through the moorland zone. You'll reach Shira Camp, which is located at an altitude of 3,840 meters, where you'll spend the night.

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

You'll continue hiking through the moorland zone and reach the Lava Tower, which is located at an altitude of 4,630 meters. You'll then descend to Barranco Camp, which is located at an altitude of 3,976 meters.

Day 3: Shira Camp to Lava Tower and Barranco Camp

You'll start the day with a steep climb up the Barranco Wall, which is a highlight of the Machame route. You'll then hike through the Karanga Valley to Karanga Camp, which is located at an altitude of 3,960 meters.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

You'll continue hiking up the mountain and reach Barafu Camp, which is located at an altitude of 4,673 meters. This is the last camp before the summit push.

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

You'll wake up very early in the morning and start your summit push to Uhuru Peak, which is the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro at an altitude of 5,895 meters. After reaching the summit, you'll descend to Mweka Camp, which is located at an altitude of 3,100 meters.

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak and Mweka Camp

On the last day, you'll hike down to Mweka Gate, where you'll receive your certificate of completion. You'll then be transferred back to Moshi, where you can relax and celebrate your achievement.

Transfer to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay near the crater.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

Breakfast and departure for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Game drive en route to the Serengeti, offering the chance to see wildlife.
Arrive in the Serengeti for a full-day game drive and the opportunity to witness the Great Migration (if in season).
Picnic lunch in the Serengeti.
Transfer to the nearest airstrip for a flight back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro.

You'll be picked up from your accommodation in Arusha and transferred to the Serengeti National Park. After arriving at the park, you'll enjoy a game drive on the way to your lodge or campsite. In the afternoon, you'll have a chance to explore the vast plains and witness the Great Migration. The Serengeti is home to around 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras and gazelles, and the sheer number of animals on the move is a sight to behold.

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

You'll spend the whole day exploring the Serengeti National Park, stopping for a picnic lunch in the bush. Your expert guide will take you to the best locations to view the wildlife and will share their knowledge of the animals and the ecosystem. With any luck, you'll witness a river crossing - a thrilling event that sees thousands of wildebeest and zebras plunge into crocodile-infested waters.

Day 2: Full Day in Serengeti

After breakfast, you'll leave the Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, you'll pass through the Olduvai Gorge, where some of the earliest human remains have been found. You'll arrive at the crater rim in time for lunch, with incredible views over the crater floor. In the afternoon, you'll descend into the crater for a game drive, where you'll see an abundance of wildlife including lions, elephants, and rhinos.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you'll leave the Ngorongoro Crater and head to Lake Manyara. This small but stunning park is home to flamingos, hippos, and tree-climbing lions. You'll have a game drive in the afternoon and stay overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara

On the final day, you'll enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara before returning to Arusha for your onward travel arrangements.
