Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
You will be welcomed by an amazing view of The Himalayas as you approach Kathmandu. At the airport, you will be welcomed by a representative of Alpine Club of Himalaya. In the evening, you will be served excellent authentic Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country’s food culture. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Preparation
We depart in the morning to the Pashupatinath temple, a famous 5th century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located on the banks of the Bagmati River. We then tour Boudhanath, one of the holiest Buddhist stupas, and the Patan Darbar square that has heritage buildings representing the four kingdoms (Kantipur, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kirtipur) in Nepal. You can do your final preparations for the trek. In the evening, you will be introduced to the rest of the group, get your equipment checked by your climbing leader, and be briefed on the trip by a representative of Alpine Club of Himalaya. Day 03: Fly to Pokhara and Pokhara Sightseeing
We take a flight to Pokhara; the right side of the plane will offer the best views of The Himalayas.
Representatives of Alpine Club of Himalaya will pick-you up at the Pokhara airport. After check-in, you may rest and relax leisurely the rest of the day amidst the beautiful Pokhara valley.
Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, and Annapurna.
You may boat on the Fewa Lake, one of the biggest lakes in Nepal, and admire the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Mountain on the lake. You can also visit the World Peace Pagoda, and some of Pokhara’s marketplaces, and old bazaars

Day 04: Fly Jomsom / Trek to Marpha: 2.5 hrs
We take a flight to Jomsom. After exploring Jomsom, we head towards Marpha. We begin by trekking downhill through the valley with mountain peaks on both sides, cross the Syang Khola, pass by the Syang Village, and continue trekking to Marpha.

Day 05: Acclimatize in Marpha
We set aside today to help you acclimatize to the altitude. However, since it is always wise to stay active during acclimatization, you may explore the area.
Marpha, a pretty stone-lined village, is also the apple capital of Nepal that produces apple brandy and jams from locally grown apples.
Dominating the village is the Nyingma monastery, from which there are good views of the village and the Gandaki River valley. Above the monastery is a chorten painted onto the cliff face and a number of small stone chortens on the ledges below.

Day 06: Trek to Yak Kharka: 5 hrs
We begin the trek to Yak Kharka by crossing the thinning tree-line and terraced farms, and then ascend along the the mountain flank.

Day 07: Acclimatization at Yak Kharka
We set aside today to help you acclimatize to the altitude.
However, since it is always wise to stay active during acclimatization, you may explore the area or hike around Yak Kharka.

Day 08: Trek to Hidden Valley: 8-9 hrs
We continue trekking to Hidden Valley, up an initial path carved by the Yaks into wilderness, cross the Thapa Pass, and continue further up to the Hidden Valley through snowy landscape.

Day 09: Trek to and around Tukuche Peak Base Camp
We continue trekking to the Tukuche Peak Base Camp. When we reach the camp, we rest, explore, and acclimatize to the high altitude.

Day 10: Hike to Camp | and back to Base Camp
From the Tukuche Peak Base Camp, we continue hiking towards Camp I. Then we return to the Base Camp again.

Day 11: Base Camp to Camp I back to Base Camp
Again, from the Tukuche Peak Base Camp, we hike towards Camp I. Then we return to the Base Camp after making the necessary arrangements. This is necessary for proper acclimatization.

Day 12: Base Camp to Camp 1 (overnight at High Camp)
Again, from the Tukuche Peak Base Camp, we hike towards Camp 1. But today, we stay overnight at Camp 1.

Day 13: Camp I to Camp 2, back to Base Camp
From Camp 1, we hike towards Camp 2. Then we return to the Camp 1. This is necessary for proper acclimatization.

Day 14 to 20: Route Fixing/ Summit Climb/Back to Base Camp
During these days, we make all necessary arrangements for the summit climb such as route fixing among others. Initially, we move between base camp, Camp 1 and Camp 2. Then we hike towards the summit, and back to our camp. With proper training, and acclimatization, and taking into consideration the weather conditions, we slowly and steadily summit the Tukuche Peak. After summiting the peak, we return to the Base Camp.

Day 21: Trek to Hidden Valley: 2 hrs
Before we leave the Base Camp, we ensure to clean up the area. At Alpine Club of Himalaya, we are deeply committed to maintaining the ecosystems. We head to Hidden Valley today. Explore and relax.

Day 22: Trek to Marpha: 7-8 hrs
Tackling along the cairns, we proceed along the snowy path. After a few hours of walking in the snow, we arrive at the top of the Thapa Pass. The descent from there is rather flat. Toward late afternoon, we arrive at Yak Kharka. From Yak Kharka, it is a steeper descent leading to Marpha.
Day 23: Trek to Jomsom: 2 hrs
From Marpha, we trek back to Jomsom arriving late afternoon. Due to the possibility of high winds in the afternoon, flights from Jomsom to Pokhara only depart in the mornings. Therefore, we stay overnight at Jomsom to catch the early morning flight.
Day 24: Fly Jomsom-Pokhara-Kathmandu
Representatives of Alpine Club of Himalaya will transport you to the airport for a a 30-minute flight to Pokhara, providing views of the two huge mountains, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. From Pokhara, we take another flight to Kathmandu.
In Kathmandu, you may spend the day exploring more of Kathmandu, shop for souvenirs, lovely pashminas, or intricate art work. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate your successful summit. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 25: Departure
Representatives of Alpine Club of Himalaya will transport you to the airport.
