Manaslu is the world’s eighth highest peak at 8,163m above sea level. It is located about 40 miles east of Annapurna I. The name Manaslu is derived from the Sanskrit word Manasa and can be roughly translated as Mountain of the Spirit. Climbing Mt. Manaslu is by far difficult and challenging. The expedition trail to Manaslu Base Camp is scenically and culturally most spectacular, passing through villages, valleys, rivers and meadows.

I had an amazing expedition with Pioneer adventures Sept 2021! I felt very comfortable and safe through the climb. The guides tailored the trip to each individual climber. They listened to us an made every attempt to help each climber. We were all given an adequate opportunity to summit. Basecamp was very comfortable. I was able to customize my climb to fit my time frame. Overall it was fantastic! I will definitely climb with them in the near other!

We did this Manaslu trip with pioneer Adventures, they were so professional and had such a good safety mindset. The food and the Sherpas were the best we have experienced will definitely travel with that again, Tenji Sherpa knows how to run a safe and pleasant gang in the company all credit to Pioneer Adventures who managed to get everyone on top of Manaslu Magnus Wiberg Sweden
