Day 6: Ghandruk to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara
Descend to Nayapul through terraced fields and forests. Meet your transportation and drive back to Pokhara. Spend the night in Pokhara and celebrate your successful trek.
Day 7: Return to Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara, concluding your Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek adventure.
Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Start your journey by taking a bus or a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna region. Spend the night in Pokhara, enjoying the lakeside city's ambiance.
Day 2: Pokhara to Nayapul to Tikhedhunga
Drive to Nayapul (1.5-2 hours from Pokhara) and begin your trek. Trek through picturesque villages and lush forests to reach Tikhedhunga. Overnight stay in Tikhedhunga.
Day 3: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
Start the day with a steep climb up to Ulleri, a charming Magar village. Continue through rhododendron forests and terraced fields to reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is your overnight stop.
Day 4: Poon Hill Sunrise Excursion and Trek to Tadapani
Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Return to Ghorepani for breakfast and then trek to Tadapani through lush forests. Overnight stay in Tadapani.
Day 5: Tadapani to Ghandruk
Trek through rhododendron and oak forests with occasional glimpses of the mountains. Reach the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk. Explore the village and spend the night there.
