Kathmandu sightseeing and Preparation
Begin your Kathmandu exploration with a full day dedicated to visiting iconic heritage sites. Your cultural journey will lead you to the mesmerizing Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, where you'll soak in the spiritual ambiance and enjoy panoramic views of the city. Next, pay a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a revered Hindu shrine located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Lastly, you'll be captivated by the grandeur of Boudhanath Stupa, a symbol of peace and harmony. After an enriching day of cultural immersion, return to your accommodation to make final preparations for your upcoming trek, ensuring your equipment is in order for the adventure ahead.
Fly to Lukla (2,800 meters) and Trek to Phakding (2,652 meters)
Embarking on an early morning flight, we touch down in Lukla, the gateway to our Everest Base Camp adventure. With the Himalayan air crisp and invigorating, our journey commences as we set foot on the trail that leads us to Phakding, a quaint village nestled along the banks of the Dudh Kosi River. Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 meters).
