Zanzibar has the prerequisites of an exotic island - sun, sand and exotic charm. Even the name holds a magical tone. As the last stronghold of the African slave trade and the main growing area for cloves, the island has a ruthless side and yet the other side is the fragrance of paradise. The ruling sultans of this magical Zanzibar spice island used their wealth to build grandiose palaces and bath houses.
Zanzibar is a beautiful island, dotted with amazing beaches and secret coves while the interior is green; covered with growing cloves and cinnamon tree plantations. Ruins of palaces, baths and ancient mosques are scattered throughout the island and are a reminder to a bygone era of Sultans and slavery. The whole coast is surrounded by coral gardens that are embedded in turquoise tropical waters.
Itinerary
Day 1 Transfer
Arrival, meet and greet at the Airport, transfer to Serena Inn (or similar hotel). Check in for two nights (standard room) on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2 Stone town tour
Morning, after breakfast, at 09:00, guided stone town tour; stone town was declared as world heritage site by UNESCO. With our guide you will walk on the footsteps of Arab Sultans of Zanzibar. Discovery of the wonderful labyrinths of Zanzibar, visit of the historical sites, presentation of the Zanzibar doors, their roles and significance. Return to hotel at noon
Day 3 Prison Island tour
Morning, after breakfast at 09:00, leave in our wooden engine boat for prison island tour, discovery Breeses of the giant tortoises, ancient prison, snorkeling around the island . After lunch (lunch direct from clients) at 14:00 hrs, transfer to Beach Club (South east of the Island) or similar hotel, check inn for four nights at hotel on half board basis.
Day 4 Full day relaxation
Full relaxation, dinner and overnight at Breeses Beach Club.
Day 5 Dolphin Tour
Morning, at 07:00, depart from Breeses Beach Club for Dolphin Tour, leave on our wooden engine boat for swimming with the dolphins. On return, snorkeling, lunch at beach Restaurant. At 14:00 depart from Kizimkazi village, Jozani Forest en route, discovery of mangroves, and red colobus Monkeys, and other animal species. Return to the hotel at 17: and overnight at Breeses Beach Club.
Day 6 Full day relaxation
Full relaxation at the Hotel.
Day 7 Transfer
Depart from the hotel to the Airport.
