5 Days: Balloon Over Ruaha, Flowers of Kitulo

Arrive in Iringa, the gateway to Ruaha National Park. Crash at your comfy lodge and unwind after your journey. In the afternoon, hop on a game drive in Ruaha National Park. Look out for lions, giraffes, zebras, and a whole bunch of other cool animals! Share safari stories over dinner at your lodge.

Wake up before the sun (don't worry, it's worth it!) for a mind-blowing hot air balloon safari over Ruaha National Park (if the weather cooperates). See the vast landscapes come alive as the sun paints the sky with amazing colors. From your VIP spot in the sky, spot herds of animals roaming below and soak up the beauty of the African bush. Land and celebrate with a delicious bush breakfast – fancy picnic in the wild! In the afternoon, explore a different area of Ruaha on another game drive. This gives you more chances to see all sorts of wildlife and discover the park's different ecosystems

Enjoy a relaxing morning game drive, venturing deeper into the park to see what hidden gems you can find. You might spot shy animals and tons of birds! After a yummy lunch at your lodge, do whatever chills you out. Relax by the pool, get lost in a book, or join optional activities like guided nature walks or visiting local villages (extra fees may apply). In the evening, enjoy dinner and swap stories about your awesome animal encounters.

Say goodbye to Ruaha and get ready for a scenic drive to Kitulo National Park, also known as the "Tanzania Serengeti of Flowers" (heads up, the ride can take some time). If it's the rainy season, prepare to be blown away by fields of wildflowers in every color imaginable! Once you arrive at Kitulo, check into your lodge and get ready to explore this unique and beautiful place.

Depending on the season and availability, you might be able to take a hot air balloon ride over the stunning flower fields of Kitulo (this is an extra cost, but the view would be epic!). Otherwise, explore the park on a guided nature walk with a local expert who can tell you all about the cool plants and animals that live here. Hike the trails, marvel at the colorful blooms, and see some amazing birds. In the afternoon, reflect on your amazing 5-day adventure as you head back to Iringa (or wherever you're going next).
