The 4-day Serengeti safari includes a thrilling crossing of the Mara River in the northern safari region, which boasts the largest herd movement of animals on the planet. With up to 1,000 animals per km², the impressive columns of wildebeest can even be seen from space. Witness over 1.2 million wildebeest, 300,000 zebras, as well as Topi and other gazelle, as they migrate through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in search of food and water. Our carefully curated itinerary covers both the Lobo area in the north of the central Serengeti National Park and the Wagakuria area in the northern Serengeti National Park.
Itinerary
DAY 3: NORTHERN SERENGETI (KOGATENDE) -SERENGETI (CENTRAL)
After breakfast, a visitor enjoys a game drive to the kogatende area resident many numbers of wildlife are found in this area. This camp is used for the Serengeti Mobile Green Camp from July till the end of November when the migration is in the Northern Serengeti and hopefully crossing the Mara River. The camp is approximately 20 minutes from the Mara River and set up on a ridge under large evergreen trees overlooking a large part of the Northern Serengeti wilderness zone, where a large group of wildebeest crosses the river and can enjoy wild animals in peace. A visitor can also use Hot Air Balloon to enjoy wild animals in this area.

DAY 4: SERENGETI (CENTRAL) – NGORONGORO- ARUSHA
In the morning after breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro Crater, The 8th Natural Wonder of the World with your packed lunch boxes for a game drive. The crater is a virtual Noah’s Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. They are the most incredible elephants you’ll ever see in your life. ‘Ngorongoro Crater’ is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and fourteen kilometres of isolated natural beauty. The Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, and shelters some 30,000 animals.
DAY 1: ARUSHA – SERENGETI (VIA NGORONGORO)
Early in the morning you will leave Moshi or Arusha town and drive toward Serengeti national park via the Ngorongoro conservation area. After a few hours, you will pass a supermarket and takes a few minutes to do the shopping for any personal effect that you may need. Later on, you will arrive in Serengeti in the rate of afternoon Serengeti national park is a large national park in northern Tanzania that stretches over 14,763 km2 It is located entirely in the eastern Mara Region, with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We will proceed to the Lobo area which is near to north of the serener and s typified by green rolling hills (central Serengeti national park). At Lobo area is where a wildebeest migration,
DAY 2: SERENGETI (CENTRAL) – NORTHERN SERENGETI (KOGATENDE AREA)
After breakfast, we head toward the northern Serengeti national park, also known as the wagakuria area we do the game drive route from the Lobo area to the Wagakuria area. As we head north, a visitor can see many animals at Serengeti like giraffes, plain game, herds of buffalo, and elephants. In mid of July to October, there is a movement of animals passing through the mara river herd of wildebeest gazelle, and zebra begin their annual spectacular migration northwards. In their wake follow predators, lions, cheetahs, and wild dogs with vultures circling.
We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and after lunch, we will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the area. The wildebeest migration can normally be found in the Wagakuria area from Mid-July to October, depending on rainfall patterns. A long stretch of the Mara River runs through the northern Serengeti National Park.
