Lake Nakuru is a remarkable shallow soda lake situated in the heart of Kenya's Rift Valley. Celebrated for its stunning landscapes and diverse ecosystems, the lake is particularly well-known for drawing vast flocks of flamingos, which adorn its shores with vibrant pink colors, especially during the rainy season. Additionally, the area is home to the "big four" wildlife species, a rhino sanctuary, and over 400 bird species, making Lake Nakuru an ideal destination for exploration and appreciation of nature.
Itinerary
Day 01: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park
Pick up from Nairobi Hotel in the morning or airport and be driven to Lake Nakuru.
You will have a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley. You will then proceed to Lake Nakuru where you will arrive and proceed with an en-route game drive as you head to the lodge. You will enjoy lunch and short rest before enjoying the afternoon game drive.
Home to Four of the Big Five are present with both buffalo and rhinoceros being especially common in the park.
You'll enjoy a day game drives along the shores of Lake Nakuru taking in its diverse variety of both animal and bird life.
It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe.
Later dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 02: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
Enjoy early morning in the beautiful Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast and check out, you will be driven to Nairobi.
