Day 6- Ngorongoro Crater

Welcome to the start of your safari and welcome to Tanzania! You've chosen a fantastic place for your safari journey. Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will find our driver guide holding the signboard with your name. You'll be warmly greeted by our friendly guides, who will assist you with your luggage and give you a short briefing about your tour, and transfer you to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Arusha Planet Lodge.

You'll hardly know you're in the city while staying at Arusha Planet Lodge. Plenty of trees surround the rooms, which have balconies and colorful safari decor, and the quiet suburban location keeps traffic noise to a minimum. The onsite restaurant and bar add to the appeal of staying here while in Arusha.

Day 1.   Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha Planet Lodge ( 1 hour drive )

Safari Experience.
After breakfast at the lodge, proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. It is a nice, quiet park in the Northern Circuit, where you will have chances to observe groups/herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, and some cats around the park, like Lions, etc. After all these, in the afternoon, your Guide will drive you to the Restaurant where you will enjoy your hot lunch.
Afterward, continue with the game drive until evening, then drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

The rooms at Marera Valley Lodge are like understated temples to good taste, and you'll sleep well here. Although you're close to Karatu, you're nicely removed from the main road that connects Ngorongoro Crater with Lake Manyara National Park. Day 2.  Arusha - Tarangire National Park ( 2 hours drive )

Day 1 Arrival Kilimanjaro - Arusha

Today you’ll be heading out to your first Tanzania national park: the magnificent Lake Manyara. Though one of the smaller national parks in the country, it still packs a punch. Expect to spot herds of elephants slowly trekking across the plains, vast troops of baboons in the thick forest canopy, and – if you are lucky! – perhaps even tree-climbing lions.

You’ll spend the day in your private 4×4 safari vehicle with your experienced safari guide leading the way. A mesmerizing variety of wildlife can be found around the huge soda lake, including buffalos, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and plenty of pink flamingos. The shallow Hippo Pool is always a highlight and offers excellent opportunities for hippo sightings as well as spectacular views of the Rift Valley Escarpment.

Day 2 Lake Manyara National Park

Today you will continue your African safari experience to one of the country’s biggest draws: the Serengeti National Park. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife that call the Serengeti home are unsurpassed. The Wildebeest Migration with more than a million wildebeest is probably the highlight of the Serengeti. It is a true spectacle and impressive to watch millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles thunder across the endless plains of the Serengeti.

Together with your private guide, you will be looking for the herds across the plains. Apart from the migratory animals, you will also get to see lots of other animals, like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many more. Expect to be impressed by the natural beauty of Africa’s most famous park.

If you like to watch wildlife from another perspective, we recommend you to go on a balloon safari. It is an amazing experience to drift silently above the plains with herds of wildlife.

Day 3 Serengeti National Park

Early morning you drive from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The road leads you over the Great Rift Valley, through the crater forest, to the striking Ngorongoro Crater. This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colors of the landscapes and the diversity of animals.

The crater is home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa and is choked with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and even the rare black rhino. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

There is a range of activities to do in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, like visiting a Maasai village.

Day 5 NGORONGORO CRATER

Early in the morning after Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. One of the lesser-visited national parks of atmosphere, expect to see few other travellers on your journey and plenty of private moments to admire majestic herds of elephants roaming amidst the iconic Baobab trees.

Home to the highest concentration of wild elephants in the world, the Tarangire offers up unbeatable elephant sightings. Sometimes herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen around the Tarangire River, drinking from the shallows or enjoying a cooling mud bath. Apart from elephants, Tarangire is a paradise for bird lovers. In the area around these swamps, you can also see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even tree-climbing pythons. DAY 1: ARRIVAL - ARUSHA

ARUSHA - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
The morning After breakfast, 07:30 picked up at your hotel and we depart for the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor.

Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.

This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. After a picnic lunch, we do an afternoon game drive. You will be transferred to your Luxury Lodge Ngorongoro Marera Mountain Lodge for dinner and overnight full board

DAY 2: ARUSHA - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we Drive to Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.

Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. You will be transferred to your Luxury Lodge Serengeti National Park for dinner & overnight Full Board

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Full-Day Serengeti National Park 
Sunrise or Sunset game drive or Balloon Safaris, Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages.

We do an after breakfast game viewing drives along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River and is good for possible lions, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich, and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s center not far from the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive.

This nicely designed center offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The center also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased at picnic area.

DAY 4-5: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
