You will be picked up in Arusha city or Moshi in the morning, by our English-speaking guide, who will drive you to Materuni Village. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim so don‘t forget your swimwear!

After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. After we leave take The ride to the hot springs takes about an hour and 20 minutes and leads partly over bumpy slopes. First we go past sugar cane plantations, then we come to the African scrubland. Dried river beds, baobab and acacia trees accompany us on our way.

Enjoy a wonderful afternoon in just the way you want, in the sun dozing, chatting with the locals at the small bar, or swimming you determine the course. We leave the hot springs in the late afternoon  and return relaxed to Arusha/ Moshi

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take this time to relax and recover from your journey. If time allows, you can explore the city or enjoy an optional visit to a local market or cultural center.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

After breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species. In the late afternoon, we proceed to our lodge near Mto wa Mbu for the night.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We leave early for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the central Serengeti in time for a game drive, where you will witness the incredible wildlife, including the famous Big Five.

Day 3: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Today, we drive further north to follow the Great Migration. This region offers excellent opportunities to witness river crossings at the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras battle strong currents and lurking crocodiles. Spend the day exploring this wildlife-rich area.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti National Park

Another full day of game drives in the Northern Serengeti. Expect to see predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs taking advantage of the migration. The vast savannas also host elephants, buffalo, and an array of antelope species.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti National Park

We spend our final day in the Serengeti enjoying game drives in search of more wildlife encounters. Capture breathtaking views of the endless plains before heading south toward the Ngorongoro region in the afternoon.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife habitats. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the densest concentration of predators in Africa, as well as rhinos, elephants, and hippos. In the afternoon, we drive back to Arusha for the night.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, we drive to Materuni village for a short two-hour hike to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls. Enjoy the lush greenery and breathtaking views before visiting a local coffee farm. Here, you’ll learn about traditional coffee processing and enjoy a freshly brewed cup. After lunch at the farm, we transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.

>> Your arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, home to the ‘The Roof of Africa’, Mount Kilimanjaro. After clearing immigration and collecting your luggage, you’ll be met by your driver who will be waiting for you at arrivals. You will drive to your accommodation in Arusha, and on a clear day, you may have views of Mount Kilimanjaro en-route. After a long day travelling you may want to rest. If you need to keep yourself busy until the evening, we can arrange a city tour or other experiences dependent on your interests.

>> Depart from Tarangire in the morning after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. En-route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will see some views of the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti gate. After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive for the chance to look for some wildlife before sunset and dinner at the campsite.

After a cup of coffee, head out early for your morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. Experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses.

Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, as you exit the park, you will have another chance to explore the plains in search of African wildlife. Proceed to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, you will depart from the campsite with a packed picnic lunch. Descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater and explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve.

It is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater before departing for Arusha in the late afternoon.

We'll collect you and journey to Materuni Village for a short but invigorating hike to Materuni Falls. Enjoy the stunning waterfall vista before exploring a coffee farm to discover coffee cultivation, harvesting, and processing. You'll even have the chance to roast and prepare your own cup of fresh, local coffee. Afterward, we'll return to the village and transport you to the airport for your departure.

You will have two options for transport between Moshi town and the village… For those who really wish to have the ‘real’ experience you can hop on a dala dala (the local minibuses. If you’d prefer to travel more quickly and comfortably you can choose to take a private car. Once you reach the village you will start your coffee tour at a traditional Chaggah ‘shamba’ .

Here your guide will explain all aspects of the Chaggah homestead including the other crops that they grow aside from coffee. You will get to see how the coffee is produced- from picking the bean to roasting and then drinking a delicious cup yourself. Following your coffee tour you will then take a short hike (make sure to wear some sport or Mountain boot ,shoes as it can be muddy up there), passing through local villages to reach the waterfalls.
