I am Santosh Adhikari. I grew up in Gorkha, where I graduated before moving to Kathmandu in 2000. I have almost a decade of experience in hospitality and tourism. I have worn many hats in my career, from being a waiter, porter, and guide to owning and running my own company. As a waiter for two years, I learned all the ins and outs of the hospitality sector. It taught me a lot of things but chiefly taught me to be patient and how to multitask. Then I became a porter. I learned a lot from my colleagues while working as a porter. After working as, a porter for two and a half years, I took training for a trekking guide license, and since then, I started my career as a trekking guide.
