Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by the representative of the Sherpa Expedition and Trekking and you will be shifted to your hotel. The staff in the hotel will manage your accommodation and check in. In the evening, a welcome dinner will be organized in traditional Nepali culture dance show restaurant.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap (2,932m)

After breakfast, you will leave Kathmandu and drive to Dhap Bazaar. The driving route follows the Sunkoshi River until Ghurmi. On the way, you will get the opportunity to witness the typical Nepalese countryside lifestyle, forest, rivers, and terraced fields. Driving through numerous settlements, you will finally reach Dhap Bazaar. Here you will Visit the local market and observe the lifestyle of the local and Sherpa people. Overnight at the tea house. Day 3: Trek from Dhap to Jhapre (2,829m)

After trekking for about five hours from Kerung, you will arrive at Jhapre. En route to Jhapre you will see wild orchids, stunning landscapes all along the Solu Okhaldhunga border. Here too, you will Explore around monasteries and Buddhist stupa. The cultural performance in Jhapre is worth watching. Overnight at stay at the tea house. After trekking for about six hours from Kerung, you arrive at Jhapre. En route to Jhapre you will see wild orchids, stunning landscapes all along the Solu Okhaldhunga border. Here too, you will visit around monasteries and Buddhist stupa. The cultural performance in Jhapre is worth watching. Overnight at stay in teahouse. Included lunch and dinner included.

Day 4: Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Peak Base Camp (3,640m)

This is the highest point of the trek and you can see plants and animals found in the Himalayan region. Also, you will see centuries aged monasteries, mani stones, Buddhist stupas and more. Moreover, this particular area is suitable for marathon and mountain bike race. Overnight at stay at the tent, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 5: Hike to Pikey Peak and trek to Junbensi (2,700m)

Here you can taste tasty local food and drink and participate in Sherpas cultural program. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 7: Drive from Phaplu to Kathmandu.

25-minutes amazing scenic fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.

Day 8: Departure day.

Approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight, a representative from the Sherpa Expedition and Trekking will take you to the airport.
