After enjoying the breathtaking scenery, you'll return to High Camp.
Trek to Siding Village (1700m) Duration: 6 hours
Prepare for a descent to Siding Village, situated at 1700 meters. The transition from the cold climate of the Upper Viewpoint to the greener surroundings of Siding Village offers a pleasant contrast. Take delight in the abundance of nature as you experience the warmth and hospitality of the lovely people in this village, who will welcome you to their homes for a unique homestay experience.
Drive to Pokhara Duration: 3 hours
As you descend from Siding Village to Lumle, a town en route, you'll then board a vehicle for a scenic drive back to Pokhara. On the way, you'll pass through Kalimati and Ghalel, where you'll get a glimpse of the diverse cultural landscape, including Brahmin communities alongside the Gurung and Magar people who are native to the Annapurna Region. These communities often come together to celebrate Diwali, a festival of light, both in Nepali and Hindi traditions. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you'll have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the city's lakeside ambiance.
Drive to Kathmandu Duration: 6-7 hours
Bid farewell to Pokhara as you embark on a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to witness the beauty of rural Nepal, passing through small towns and villages. The road follows the path of the Trishuli River, known for its excellent rafting opportunities. If you're interested, you can even stop at one of the resorts along the way and indulge in a thrilling rafting adventure. The journey showcases the natural fertility and prosperity of the region, with green plants and terraced fields of rice dotting the landscape.
