This peak is best for the acclimatization before heading to 8,000m expedition for mountaineer’s and training field for the novice climber’s. This is one of the main climbing peaks in the Everest region with magnificent and highly glaciated west face that rises from the Lhotse glacier. This peak is an outstanding way to proceed into the elevation above 6000m without any great technical struggling.
Island is also known as ImaTse. “Ima” means lake & “Tse” means top. It was named by the Sherpa community according to their language. It means Island is the top of the lake. It is situated in the delightful Imja valley on the Everest region. Island climbing is a tremendous experience in the Himalayan

Day 01: Your arrival in Nepal (Kathmandu)
Day 02: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft) about 3-4 hours walk
Day 03: From Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m) about 5/6 hours walk
Day 04: Rest day for acclimatization at Namche Bazaar
Day 05: From Namche Bazzar to Tengboche (3,870m) about 5 – 6 hours walk
Day 06: From Tengboche to Pheriche (4,240 m) about 5 – 6 hours walk
Day 07: Rest day for acclimatization in Pheriche.
Day 08: From Pheriche to Lobuche (4,930m.) about 5 – 6 hours walk
Day 09: From Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m) and up to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) – and back to Gorak Shep about 8 – 9 hours walk
Day 10: From Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar and Lobuche (4,930 m ) about 7 – 8 hours walk
Day 10: From Lobuche to Chukkung (4,730m.) about 5 – 6 hours walk
Day 11: From Chukkung to Island Peak base camp (5,200m.) about 3 – 4 hours walk
Day 12: Up to Summit (6,189m.) and back to Base Camp, Chukkung about 9 – 10 hours walk.
Day 13: Extra day for Summit
Day 14: From Chukkung to Tengboche (3,870m.) about 5 – 6 hours walk
Day 15: From Tengboche to Namche (2,800m.) about 5 – 6 hours walk
