Hiunchuli Peak

Submit Review
The Dhaulagiri range embraces some of the world's most remarkable peaks. And, to the west of Annapurna South; there appears a long edge at the end of which sets the tranquil Hiunchuli peak. This peak is one of the peaks having an altitude of more than 7000m and signifies the last part of the snow-topped range. Hiunchuli (6441m.) is the fourth-highest peak amongst the 'trekking peaks' and is regarded as one of the least tricky trekking. Regardless of the relative effortlessness to the entry of the peak by tagging along the popular Annapurna sanctuary trekking route, the peak seems to be unnoticed by climbers which may be due to the risk of flood and rock falling. The Himchuli Peak is not really difficult to ascend but is exposed to rock falls, and pathfinding may also be another problem. Nevertheless, it provides a major new way trodden rarely where you will be hallucinated by the natural beauty.

The major fascinations of the Hiunchuli Peak trekking are passing through Modi stream, terrace field, taking a bath at a hot water spring at Jhinu Dada, and wonderful sights of Annapurna range including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak.
